After a divorce, I became increasingly emotional and reactive. I had no skills or understanding of what was going on or any communication skills to transform the tense relationships I was becoming increasingly surrounded by. My disorganization went from bad to horrible. I sunk into a depression, desperately seeking to find my way out. None of the therapists I had gone to explained how the fight/flight/freeze mind works where I could have a clear path to navigate out.
I left my Wall Street career vowing to find my way out of chaos and then empowering as many others interested in doing the same. Writing books as a focusing tool all the while over the past 25 years down each area I saw I needed power in:
1.) The Power of Calm
2.) Connecting & Communicating with Others
5.) Getting past upsets
As I kept improving in all these areas, it was like rising out of a fog. Each time I went back into my writing, I could see how much my mind had improved. Writing and asking questions, moves us out of the reactive mind.
My passion is educating and empowering others out of this reactive state and how to empower those around them to do the same, instead of condemning and blaming each other.
